TIME CONTROL: 90/90 with a 30 second increment from the 1st move.
Please Note – In terms of the Official Youth Selection Criteria, a player must participate in the Junior Closed in order to be eligible for selection to participate overseas.
Please complete the attached entry form and return it with the payment of your registration fee on or before the 28th February 2006. If we have not received your payment and registration form by the 28th of February, we will assume that you will not be participating. Late entries will be levied with an additional penality of R50-00 per player. In order to facilitate easy payment, our banking details are as follows:

It is imperative that you write your name (in the reference block provided) on the deposit slip, and email it together with the fully completed registration form to Bridgette Brodie (bbrodie@netactive.co.za) or fax it to her on 088 021 6830047 and also retain the slip as proof of payment.
The time control for the tournament will be 90/90 with a 30 second increment per move and clocks will be provided. This tournament will be sent to FIDA for rating.
Please Note: No player will be allowed to participate unless they have paid their Chessa fees for 2008.
Accommodation is available at the Orion Safari Lodge. The cost per day will be R290-00 per player and R350-00 per adult for full board (bedding included), which includes 3 meals. As accommodation is limited, it will be done on a first come first served basis. All bookings must be done via Bridgette.
SAJCA will provide a bus to and from Johannesburg International Airport, for all players traveling by air or bus, to and from the venue. The exact departure time for the bus will be communicated to all concerned as soon as it has been finalised, however, please ensure that you are at Johannesburg airport by 12h30.
