MINUTES OF SAJCA REGIONAL MEETING

MATTERS ARISING FROM SAJCA MEETING HELD ON 24 MARCH 2007

A number of issues came out of this meeting that needs urgent attention and action. As we are your voice at the Chessa Council Meeting, we need your input on the following items:

The Proposed Chessa Code of Conduct;
The Proposed Chessa Constitutional changes;
The Youth Committee Discussion Document;

As discussed and agreed on Saturday, the contents of these 3 documents could and would, if implemented in totality, have a profound effect on all our junior players and their parents, therefore, it is imperative that you study these documents and submit your comments by Friday the 30th of March 2007 to Bridgette Brodie. Once we have received everyone’s comments we will formulate a single response that will be circulated to all members, which will be presented at the Council Meeting.

MANAGERS & COACHES FOR INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION:

At the meeting, the CEO of Chessa agreed, that due to an administrative error, not all Regions were aware of the deadline for the submission of C.V.’s for Managers and Coaches for overseas participation in 2007. Therefore, you are requested to, URGENTLY, submit the C.V.’s of any potential coaches and managers for consideration. Please forward these C.V.’s to the secretary of SAJCA.
